We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Social Workers to join our dynamic teams in Twickenham and Kingston. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing support and services to children, families, and vulnerable adults. We have multiple roles available in the Referral and Assessment Team, Permanency Team, and Safeguarding Team. These roles involve a mix of office-based work and community engagement to ensure the safety and well-being of those we serve.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Social Worker in the Referral and Assessment Team:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families referred to the team.
  • Determine the level of support and intervention required.
  • Develop and implement plans to support the child's welfare.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all cases.

Social Worker in the Permanency Team:

  • Work with children and families to achieve permanent care arrangements.
  • Assess and support foster carers and adoptive parents.
  • Ensure children in permanent placements receive appropriate care and support.
  • Facilitate and support family reunification when safe and possible.
  • Monitor and review the progress of permanency plans.

Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team:

  • Identify and respond to cases of child abuse and neglect.
  • Develop and implement safeguarding plans.
  • Work closely with law enforcement and other agencies to protect vulnerable children.
  • Provide support and intervention to families in crisis.
  • Attend court and give evidence when required.
