The Virginia Africa Partnership invites you to support our First Scholarship Gala & Auction

Join US for our 2024 VAP Youth STEM Fundraising Gala. With the theme " Elevate Them "this event intends to bring us together to inspire, empower and celebrate our youth engaged in STEM studies and raise funds for scholarship award. All funds raised from the donations and Gala ticket sales, go directly toward the scholarships for the newest Award Recipients.

The 2024 Scholarship Award, will be discerned to eligible applicants during the VAP Youth Leadership and STEM Award Ceremony taking place at the Richmond Main Library on May 20, 2024.

Our goal is

• To inspire more youth in Virginia, particularly girls and minority Black students, to develop a keen interest in STEM and pursue the study of STEM subjects and relevant future pathways
• To motivate young people for a higher sense of leadership
• To foster innovation and cross-cultural awareness by enhancing studentw echsnge between Virginian and African students particularly in science, technology, engineering, and math

Last year,Virginia Africa Partnership awarded more than 5 scholarships to achieving high scholl graduate determined to embrace STEM studies in college. Thanks to your support, this year, we wish to award more than 15 scholarships. You can help bring this upcoming scholarship fundraising into reality either by offering your time as a volunteer, giving generous donations, and items/ gifts for auctions.
