This clever, political comedy, by Moira Buffini, premiered in 2013 at the Tricycle Theatre (now The Kiln) and was revived there in 2022. It explores with charm, biting wit, affectionate comedy and razor sharp commentary the relationship between the Monarch and her most powerful subject. 

After the turbulence of the past few years, the play seems to have a greater resonance. The same professional company which brought Absent Friends to the OSO earlier in the year presents this play that educates a new generation on Margaret Thatcher's legacy through her weekly meetings with the Queen.
