A family run grocery store in Kew has submitted a new premises licence to extend its opening hours.

Trindle Stores, located at Station Parade, Kew is seeking permission to sell alcohol for consumption on and off the premises, with longer operating hours from Monday to Saturday.

If approved, the new licence would permit the sale of alcohol on and off the premises from Monday to Saturday, 12pm–9pm, and on Sunday from 12pm–5pm.

In addition, the proposed opening hours of the premises would change from Monday to Saturday, 9am–6pm, and Sunday, 11am–5pm, to 9am–9pm every day except Sunday, which would remain 11am–5pm.

Those wishing to comment can do so by submitting a representation to Richmond Council's licensing department referencing application WK/202505471.

The proposals are currently under review by Richmond Council, with the public consultation period open until Monday, 4 August 2025.
