Nexgen Locum are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Registered Manager to join our client's nursery in Richmond-upon-Thames. You will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring it delivers the highest quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years old.

About the role:

  • Lead and manage a team of qualified and dedicated staff, providing ongoing support and development.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, creating engaging and stimulating learning environments.
  • Ensure all safeguarding and regulatory requirements are met, maintaining a safe and secure environment for children.
  • Monitor and evaluate the nursery's performance, developing and implementing improvement plans.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child's learning journey.
  • Manage the nursery budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Contribute to the development and marketing of the nursery, promoting its services to the local community. The nursery work very closely with the attached Church so it is important that these beliefs are respected.
  • Responsibility of staff management and ratios of all children.
  • Be happy to step in when needed to
  • Commutation is absolute key , need to be able to communicate in an articulate and positive manor.

Needed from you:

  • Qualified Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent level 3 qualification.
  • DBS on the Update Service
  • First Aid certificate with at least 1 year remaining.
  • Registered Manager qualification or working towards it.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a managerial role within an early years setting.
  • Have successfully gone through an OFSTED inspection within past 12 months.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A passionate commitment to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practice.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
