Role: Electrical Package Engineer - Waste Water Salary: up to £475 Umbrella Location: Mogden(Twickenham) Duration: 8 months + A leading Tier 1 contractor in the waste water sector are looking to bolster their team. Roles and Responsibilities: As an Electrical Package Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind our water industry projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and on time. Your mission: deliver top-quality results that exceed client expectations while maximising profitability. Reporting directly to the Electrical Lead, you'll work at the heart of our project delivery team, overseeing design, procurement, financial control, and on-site activities. From the initial concept to the final handover, you'll take charge of projects, using your expertise to turn plans into reality. This role isn't just about managing projects-it's about leading them. You'll spearhead the delivery of MEICA projects (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation), including pumping stations, aeration plants, digestion processes, and biogas production, along with the vital civil structures that support them. From early site investigations to final commissioning, you'll be hands-on, coordinating with clients and teams to ensure every detail is covered. Your responsibilities will include crafting and reviewing safety documentation, such as risk assessments and project management plans, to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. You'll also take the lead on procuring materials, overseeing site testing, and managing commissioning, ensuring everything is done to the highest standard. Working closely with the design team, you'll gather crucial information, participate in dynamic design reviews, and contribute to Hazard Studies to develop innovative, effective solutions. Qualifications: A minimum industry applicable electrical HNC or B.Eng CSCS and Or CPCS Card Sound knowledge of Microsoft Packages and Web based portals Preferred to have previous experience within the Sewage Treatment sector, to include: A good knowledge of motor control centres including variable speed 690V and 420V An understanding of switchgear design including discrimination calculations and protection devices A knowledge of G5/5 (or G5/4) A knowledge of electrical distribution power engineering and switchgear from 11kV and below. Experience of 11kV/LV fault level calculations and protection studies A good knowledge of electrical design in ATEX hazardous areas If interested, please apply with your updated CV and i will give you a call.
