Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to inspire and educate our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to pupils across various age groups, fostering a deep appreciation for literature, language, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of primary and secondary students.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive learning community.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field (PGCE or equivalent preferred).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of obtaining QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and a genuine interest in the development of young learners.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
