Hat Making for Beginners

Celebrate the upcoming Kentucky Derby weekend by joining our latest hat making workshop with professional milliner and fashion accessory designer Bee Smith!

Enjoy a drink and snacks whilst creating your very own headpiece to dazzle friends and family with at weddings, parties and trips to the racecourse.

If there are any specific colours, styles or themes you would like to make or if you want a hat or fascinator to match an outfit, just let us know in advance. Starting with a pre-made hat base or headband, you will then be free to let your imagination run riot by adding feathers, netting and lots more (even birds and butterflies!). At the end of the class, you'll leave with a beautiful hat made by your own fair hands!

There are many different styles for all abilities, so do come along whether you're a novice or experienced crafter.

All materials and refreshments are included.

This class can also be booked as a bespoke event for birthdays, hen parties and company celebrations. Just mail us on [email protected] for more information.

"I attended the fascinator workshop this afternoon, what a great time we had, and I made a very unique fascinator. Lots of choice of materials, great instruction, conversation and refreshments. Would highly recommend."

"I would say I'm not a natural, yet in a single workshop I could manage to make something lovely. Can hardly believe it. Lovely afternoon. A great way to relax and meet nice people and to prove you can be creative."
