Culver + Nelson is delighted to have been shortlisted in the prestigious Farm Shop & Deli Awards, 2021.

The deli, kitchen and pantry in East Sheen has gone above and beyond over the past year to support the community.

These awards, in partnership with The Grocer, are highly respected for playing an important role in supporting and celebrating the UK's independent, specialist retail market.

"Over the last few months, we have heard so many wonderful stories on how specialist retailers have gone above and beyond to help their community during the Covid-19 pandemic," organisers said.

"That's why, for the 2021 awards, we're looking to shine the spotlight on those retailers who deserve recognition for their courageous commitment shown to their customers, community, staff and suppliers."

Culver + Nelson has remained open throughout the UK's lockdowns, pivoting and adapting their business to keep East Sheen residents safely supplied with groceries.

This ranges from essential day-to-day items to those little treats that cheer us up and help us get by, to emergency Christmas lunches when so many of our plans changed.

Whether it has been click and collect, deliveries in their new, branded electric car, contributions to charities for families that have struggled or supporting other local businesses, owner Sally Powell and her team have become an integral and welcome part of East Sheen's community and its fantastic independent high street.

All shortlisted retailers were announced in January and the winners will be announced on July 5.

Congratulation and good luck, Sally and the team at Culver + Nelson!
