One of London's few remaining traditional produce fairs will return to Kew Green this year over the August bank holiday weekend with prizes to be won for keen bakers and gardeners alike.

This will be the 76th Kew Horticultural Society Summer Show, which will be held on Kew Green on Saturday August 28.

You can enter your produce, flowers, cakes or craft into one of over 100 categories in the fair's competition!

There are specific classes for children too.

If you're not feeling competitive there will also be an 'exhibit marquee' bursting with vegetables, fruit, flowers, baking and craft, local and horticultural-based stalls, a jazz band, a tea tent, a barbecue, and traditional entertainment including a Punch and Judy show, Treasure Hunt and Beat the Goalie competition.

They say: "We are delighted that Richmond Council has given the go ahead for the 2021 Summer Show, subject, of course, to any future changes due to the pandemic.

"This year will see a return to a marquee for the traditional flower and vegetable exhibition with awards for winning entries from amateur gardeners and allotment holders.

"There will also be a variety of stalls on the Green for all the family.

"This is one of the few remaining traditional produce fairs in London, and if you haven't been before, then a treat awaits you!"
