29th Apr 2025 - 15th Jul 2025
UNTIL Tuesday 15th July

Are you searching for work? Starting 29th April, local charity Room for Work offers a free 12-lesson career development course for Richmond residents living in TW9, TW10, SW13 and SW14. If you're a mature person struggling to get back into work -- or you know you're under-employed and want a better job -- this is the programme for you. Course participants learn current job search techniques with an emphasis on networking, developing social media skills, improving CVs, and practising competency-based interviews. All delivered in a friendly local environment.
The programme is for skilled workers over 40 with experience ranging from administrative to managerial and professional roles. Those who are new to the UK job market with good basic English and computer skills are also welcome to join. You'll be with like-minded people in the same situation, using the power of community to build your motivation and confidence in finding a job. The Room for Work format includes tailored, one-to-one mentoring provided by the Course Leader, and follow-up personal career coaching support.
The course is delivered in Richmond Town Centre at Duke Street, TW9 1DH. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 10am-12.30pm. The course runs from April 29th – 15th July. For more info and to register visit www.roomforwork.org
