Richard Berridge – The International Crane Foundation
Cranes are among the most endangered families of birds in the world with 10 out of 15 species threatened. For nearly 50 years The International Crane Foundation, an American based charity, has worked worldwide to conserve cranes and the ecosystems, watersheds and flyways on which they depend, providing knowledge, leadership and inspiration to engage people in resolving threats to cranes and their diverse landscapes. Richard Berridge is the Grants Officer-Africa for the Foundation. He manned their stall at this year's Global Bird Fair and we have invited him to talk to us about this fascinating subject.
There will be a break with refreshments.
Non members are welcome to attend for a £5.00 fee
