The superstar Australian author Andy Griffiths will launch the 2025 Barnes Children's Literature Festival at the Richmond Theatre on Saturday 26 April.

The author of the internationally bestselling Treehouse series which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide, will take to the stage with his hilarious, highly interactive comedy event especially for kids.  

Andy will introduce his side splitting new book, You and Me and The Land of Lost Things. Part choose-your-own-adventure, part lost-and-found scavenger quest, part interactive Q&A, ALL laugh out loud hilarious with YOU right in the middle of the action!

Barnes is the UK's largest children's book festival, returning on Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 June, with over 100 author and illustrator events, workshops, performances and free activities around beautiful Barnes Pond over the weekend.

The UK's biggest selling children's writer David Walliams, Cressida Cowell, the creator of the How to Train Your Dragon books and Hollywood film series, and the book rapping sensation, MC Grammar, star of Sky Kids' hit shows Wonder Raps, are just a few of the big names on their way to Barnes in June.
