Sunday 27th April

Wood block printing 1hr taster

In this engaging taster workshop, you'll learn the traditional craft of wood block printing, creating your own artwork using authentic hand-carved Indian blocks.

After a short demonstration by the tutor, you will have a go at experimenting with the hand-carved wood blocks, choosing from over 100 botanical, animal and geometric designs. Working in a calm, supportive environment, you'll experiment with various designs and colours to make bespoke greeting cards to take home.

This workshop for beginners requires no prior knowledge or skills. We are here to guide you and make sure you have a great time! It is a relaxing process where you can get into the creative flow.

Age: 16 + years. We have a small studio and we cannot accommodate children as participants or accompanying their adults!

Times: Slots at 10am, 11.30am and 1pm. The workshop lasts for 1hr.

Cost: £20 per person

Book in advance (recommended) or turn up on the day (spaces not guaranteed).
