TFL have agreed to to extend the working hours at Manor Circus in Richmond to get the junction cleared as quickly as possible.

The disruption should now end by 25 November and the extended working hours will begin on Monday 16 October.

Work will now continue until 11pm at night which will shorten the most disruptive period of works from mid December to 25 November.

The roadworks have been causing traffic chaos in Richmond, with residents being very concerned about congestion and major delays on main roads leading to and from the roundabout, traffic is spilling onto residential streets.

In a statement on social media, Sarah Olney MP for Richmond Park said: "TfL have agreed to extended working hours at Manor Circus to get the junction cleared as quickly as possible. The major disruption should now end by 25th November. Thank you to the North Richmond Councillors and Richmond Council for pushing this through."

She added: "The extended hours will begin on Monday 16th October and work will now continue until 11 pm at night. I'm extremely pleased TfL have listened to residents' concerns. We will keep working to improve the situation over the coming weeks."
