A Richmond resident is delighted with her win in the latest community lottery draw.

Get Lucky Local is a weekly, local lottery in which players choose their own causes to support.

It aims to support and help fund charities, sports and cultural groups and other worthwhile projects across Richmond.

50p from every ticket of Get Lucky Local will go direct to charities, voluntary groups and other good causes which sign up to the new lottery.

Players of the weekly game can win a £25,000 jackpot, with smaller cash prizes of £2,000, £250 and £25 also available as well as non-cash prizes. You can sign up and play the Get Lucky Local lottery here.

Sarah Adams from Richmond won six Bushy and Home Park calendars in the draw last weekend.

She was delighted to win and nominated Teddington Hockey Club as her good cause.

Other nominated causes which will benefit from the winners this week included Richmond-based charities Missing People and The Victoria Foundation, Hampton Hill Cricket Club, Hearts of Teddlothian FC, Ruils, Hampton Hill Theatre, Teddington Cricket Club, Teddington Hockey Club, NPL Sports Club, Skylarks Charity, Hampton & and Richmond Borough FC, The Horse Rangers Association and SporTedd as well as the Get Lucky Local community fund.

Nicola Sutcliffe from Hampton was the winner of the fantastic £150 Marks & Spencer Xmas hamper.

Two players who are raising funds for The Victoria Foundation and Teddington Cricket Club won £25 each and 17 players won three free tickets for this Saturday's draw.
