Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past month.

Bank's New ATM's?

New ATM's could be coming to a Richmond bank if plans are signed off by Richmond Council.

NatWest has applied for planning permission for the new facilities at its George Street site as part of a national upgrade campaign.

Plans show both the existing ATM's at the Georgian style building would be removed and replaced with more modern designs.

Signage Problems

Signage around the centre of Richmond is the biggest issue for cultural organisations locally, according to a major consultation with residents and businesses.

Richmond Council has shared the latest set of findings from its 'vision for Richmond Town Centre' project which began with a major study into the area.

Results of the study were first published last year and now the council is working to create a "vision and action plan for the town centre".

New Park Press Forward

A new park is set to open to the public in Hampton, with a mini forest, play equipment and paths.

Richmond Council has approved the plans for Oldfield Road Meadow, which has not been used for more than 10 years.

The 0.6-hectare park will be improved under the plans, which include installing a new footpath around it and play equipment.
