How you can help keep Richmond litter-free this weekend

By The Editor 16th Apr 2021

We're set for a sunny weekend in Richmond and people have been asked to do their bit to keep it clean and tidy.

Residents and visitors who see a full bin can scan the QR code on the bin and report it to Richmond Council. Alternatively, log it via the council website.

Yesterday we reported two Parkguard officers will begin patrols in Richmond town centre as lockdown restrictions ease.

Today the council said: "Please respect our parks and protect others from coronavirus this weekend.

"â— Meet in groups no bigger than six, or two households

â— Keep your distance

â— Take your litter home if bins are full and recycle

"Report full bins using the QR code. #KeepRichmondSafe."
