Apple TV has unveiled the first trailer and release date for the upcoming season of hit show Ted Lasso.
The much-anticipated fourth season of Ted Lasso has been announced for 5 August on the streaming platform after the release of a new teaser trailer today (Tuesday, 28 April).
First released in August 2020, the show follows the story of Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis, an American college football coach who is hired to coach English football team AFC Richmond.
The new season will see Lasso return to south west London to try his hand at coaching a women's football team.
The new trailer sees many of the original cast reunite, with Hannah Waddingham returning to play Rebecca Welton, Brett Goldstein back as Roy Kent and Brendan Hunt bringing his beard back as Coach Beard.
Meanwhile, new faces join the cast, such as Tanya Reynolds, who can be seen alongside Lasso in the new trailer appearing as an assistant coach of the new women's team.
Back in March 2025, it was announced that the series had been renewed for a fourth season, with filming beginning in July 2025.
Actors were spotted around The Green and in other parts of Richmond as filming took place locally in September.
