The performance will take place at 7pm on Saturday 14 November at St Mary Magdalene Church, Richmond, TW9 1SN.

First performed in Dublin in 1742, Handel's Messiah has become one of the most enduring works in the classical repertoire. Its combination of dramatic solo numbers, powerful choral writing and some of Handel's best-known music — including the iconic "Hallelujah" chorus — has made it a perennial favourite with audiences around the world.

Richmond Opera's performance offers audiences the opportunity to experience this remarkable work in an atmospheric local church, accompanied by a Baroque orchestra and performed by soloists and chorus.

Tickets are £18, with under-18s tickets available for £9.
