A woman has been arrested at Brentford station after causing passenger disturbance.

British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Brentford railway station following reports of a woman harassing a teenage boy on board a train on yesterday afternoon (Monday, 2 November).

South Western Railway (SWR) said the disturbance affected services across the line, leading to train cancellations, delays, and schedule revisions.

However, line operations returned to normal by 5pm the same day following the resolution of the incident.

A spokesperson for BTP told Nub News: "We were called at around 3.30pm on Monday 2 November to reports of a woman harassing a teenage boy at Brentford railway station.

"She was detained by an off-duty BTP officer before more officers arrived. The woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault on an emergency worker."
