Richmond pub invites locals for 'one last pint' before temporary closure

A popular pub in Richmond has shared an important update with customers regarding its operations.

The Cricketers, opposite Richmond Green, took to social media to inform residents of the latest developments at the historic venue.

In the post, it said: "We will be closed for an exciting new refurbishment from this Sunday, the 8th of November, until Friday the 4th of December!"

"Why not come down and join us this week for one last pint before we kick off the festive season with a bang!"

Details of the planned works are yet to be revealed.

The Cricketers is one of the oldest pubs in Richmond, serving beer since 1770.
