It's almost the festive season and a lot of festive events are kicking off in the Richmond and Twickenham area over the next couple of weeks.

Christmas Lights:

Christmas lights across, Richmond are getting switched on this week!

Richmond and East Twickenham- Friday 24 November:

Richmond's Christmas lights will be turned on on Friday from 4:30 pm.

There will be mulled wine and mince pies, along with some Christmas entertainment with performances from local schools.

Richmond Riverside Light Switch on Event - 25 November:

A special light switch-on ceremony takes place at 4.00pm on the 25th, with a special guest appearance by the Deputy Mayor and beloved characters from the Richmond Theatre pantomime, Dick Whittington!

Christmas Markets:

Richmond Riverside Christmas Market - 26 and 26 November:

Along Richmond Riverside, there will be a delightful Christmas Market. Discover over 35 stalls featuring a beautiful selection of independent businesses, including health & beauty, jewelry, fashion, home & leisure, art, and an array of mouthwatering food and drinks.

Whittaker Avenue will transform into a magical Winter Wonderland, complete with enchanting Christmas elf workshops and perfect selfie spots, including a whimsical sleigh.

Kingston Christmas Market:

Kingston Christmas Market is back from Thursday 16 November until 31 December!

Kew Sparkle - Friday 1 December:

From 5.00-8.00pm Kew Sparkle will offer stalls selling Christmas gifts, stocking fillers, decorations and so much more, a choice of mouth-watering food stalls along with mulled wine and other alcoholic offerings for adults and a host of entertainment. 

Christmas at Kew - 15 November - 7 January:

Christmas at Kew Gardens is back!

Discover glittering tunnels of light, dancing lakeside reflections and trees drenched in jewel-like colour!

Barnes Christmas Festival - 8 December:

Barnes Village will be transformed into a winter wonderland with local choirs and music groups performing throughout the village, late night shopping, Father Christmas at Rose House and some festive stalls and funfair rides on Barnes Green!
