The date has been announced for the switch on of Richmond's Christmas lights.

The lights will be switched on on Friday 24 November at Richmond Bridge.

There will be mulled wine and mince pies, along with some Christmas entertainment with performances from local schools.

On the same weekend (25 and 26 November) there will also be a Christmas Market along the Riverside.

The market will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

Whittaker Avenue will transform into a Winter Wonderland pop-up, offering a magical weekend experience from 11am - 5pm.

There will be over 35 stalls featuring a selection of independent businesses, offering everything from health and beauty, Jewelry, Fashion, home and Leisure, art, to an array of mouthwatering food and drinks.
