On Friday 8 March, Richmond host Blackheath at the Richmond Athletic Ground. It's the 160th anniversary match of the world's oldest inter-club rugby fixture.

A big crowd is expected for an always-competitive game, with the match also coinciding with International Women's Day.

While this isn't a women's fixture, Richmond Rugby still want to be able to mark the event.

To thank female volunteers, members, players, supporters and residents of Richmond for their contribution to and support of the club, free entry is on offer to all women for this special occasion.

The match kicks off at 8pm, with the bars and BBQs open from 5pm for everyone to enjoy a pre-match drink and bite to eat.

Match ticket prices:

  • Women: Free
  • Match entrance for members online or at the gate: £12
  • Match entrance for non-members online: £18
  • Match entrance for non-members at the gate: £20
  • Under 16s: Free
  • Students: £6

You can find out more and book your tickets on the Richmond Rugby website.
