Vodafone’s Richmond town centre branch is set to relocate

Richmond Council has approved plans from the telecommunications company for new signs at the former Flavourtown Bakery at 3 The Quadrant.
In the approved plans, the Heritage Statement said: "Vodafone are planning to relocate from their current store at number 15 The Quadrant to new premises close by on the same street, and are seeking advertisement consent for new signage."
Like the former bakery, Vodafone will retain the aluminium and timber shopfront but carry out repairs where necessary.

The exterior will be painted in a 'woodash grey' colour, with a thick timber fascia board in the brand's signature red.
Vodafone's timber hanging sign will also feature the company's logo and colours, and will be externally illuminated.
The Heritage Statement added: "The relationship between buildings within and outside the application site will not change, and there will be no negative impact on the amenity of neighbouring properties or the Conservation Area.
"The fascia board will have the same dimensions as its predecessor.
"The hanging sign will be of a similar size and style to those of several neighbouring stores. Its design has been carefully considered to suit the dimensions of the fascia board and the modern nature of the shopfront."
