A new restaurant is set to take over the former Pitcher & Piano site in Richmond and it has revealed its opening date.

Offering what it calls a "simple, seasonal menu", Tower House will open at 11 Bridge Street, Richmond, serving "modern Mediterranean food with old-world Italian roots reminiscent of home, in a spirit of relaxed care and warmth."

British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor is set to surprise Richmond residents this week with a free festive pop-up and live choir performance.

Ocado and the vocalist behind hit song 'Murder On The Dance Floor' are set to host a festive pop-up on George Street, Richmond.

3. Protesters gather outside Richmond Theatre during drag storytime event.

Crowds of protesters gathered outside Richmond Theatre today (19 December) during a drag show, which saw multiple Met Police vans called to the area.

From around 8.30am, scores of masked protesters stood outside Richmond Theatre holding a large 'London is anti-fascist' banner in support of the theatre's 10am showing of Drag Tales Storytime - Christmas Special.
