Incredible pictures show a territorial stag roaring in a south west London park.

Married photography duo Giedrius and Dalia Stakauskas spotted the male in Richmond Park recently.

Giedrius, from Orpington, says: "This was a dominant red deer stag in full rutting behaviour.

"The stag was roaring non-stop for around half an hour while defending his territory and successfully chasing away a rival male.

"The images were taken by me and my wife, Dalia, using long telephoto lenses from a safe distance."
