Kew, Richmond is set to get a piece of South America this November as De Nadas, the UK's first empanadería specialising in Argentinian hand-shaped empanadas, prepares to open its doors.
Known for its authentic flavours and handmade baked empanadas, De Nadas promises to bring a touch of Buenos Aires to Station Parade with a menu that celebrates Argentina's gastronomy.
De Nadas will offer 15 different fillings, including both traditional and modern combinations, such as: Classic Beef, Ham & Cheese, Chorizo, Spicy Lamb, Blue Cheese & Pear, Malbec Onions & Smoked Cheddar, Creamy Spinach, Caprese, and Vegan Kale & Squash.
Empanadas can be bought individually or in bundles of three, six or twelve, with larger orders available for parties and events.

The Kew branch will also offer weekday Lunch Boxes (three empanadas and salad, Monday to Friday, 12–3pm), Kid's Meals complete with empanadas, juice and ice cream, plus crayons and puzzles to keep little ones entertained.
In homage to Pether's, the much-loved former butcher that occupied the site, De Nadas Kew will also sell Argentinian beef and criollo sausages to cook at home.
Annabel Martinez Fox, Co-Founder of De Nadas, who was brought up in Kew, said: "With my family buying their Christmas turkeys from Pether's for over 40 years, and my father still residing in Kew, this shop is the one closest to my heart.
"We can't wait to bring the power of the empanada to Kew Gardens and be a place for everyone to enjoy."
Other offerings include coffee, vermouth, South American wines, including De Nadas' own Malbec, and Argentine pantry staples such as alfajores, chimichurri, Dulce de Leche and Yerba Mate.
As well as takeaway, the shop will have a small seating area in the front and the back of the shop.

Founded in 2022 by Nako Martinez, Nico Buyo and Annabel Fox, De Nadas has quickly expanded from its first site in Notting Hill to locations in Shoreditch, Stoke Newington and Bethnal Green, where all empanadas are freshly made.
The latest shop in Kew Village is their fifth shop and was brokered by local commercial estate agent Martin Campbell.
