Stolen Range Rover returned to 'very grateful' owner

The owner of a Range Rover was thankful and relieved to be reunited with his car after an alleged overnight theft.

It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Kew Police posted: "Last night, 1.10am, Range Rover stolen from Lawn Crescent, Kew.

"Officers on scene within minutes, spot the vehicle nearby.

"Reinforced stop and driver detained who is subsequently arrested.

"Vehicle returned to grateful owner!"

A man then appeared to identify himself as the owner of the car in question, and praised the police for their efforts.

Andy Dowding replied: "VERY grateful owner.

"Massive thanks for a thoroughly efficient and professional job and really courteous officers - respect!"
