Halloween is nearly upon us and there are plenty of events in and around Richmond.

East Sheen's Spooktacular Halloween Trail

About: East Sheen's most anticipated and best loved community event is back and it's set to be more frightfully fun than ever!
Families, friends, and fancydress fans are invited to take part in the East Sheen Halloween Trail, a spinetingling celebration designed to bring the community together while supporting local businesses.
The adventure will begin at the Hare & Hounds Pub on Upper Richmond Road West, where participants can pick up their Halloween Trail Map.
From there, they will follow the spooky route around participating venues, collecting letters at each stop and filling their Halloween bags with treats along the way.
When: Saturday, 25 October 2025, from 10am - 12pm and 1pm - 3pm.
Where: Hare & Hounds, Upper Richmond Road West, SW14 8AH
Price: £6 per child (adults go free).

Ghost Train - Hampton Kempton Waterworks Railway

About: Dare to ride the Ghostly Steam Train as it creeps through the darkness! Join Hampton Kempton for a scary evening of witches, warlocks, and 'evils'.
Hampton Kempton said: "We need brave little souls to dress up as their favourite spooky characters to help protect the train from the evils that lurk in the shadows... and grown-ups, we need your help too! Costumes aren't just for kids!"
When: 1 Nov 2025 - 2 Nov 2025.
Where: Hampton Kempton Waterworks Railway, Snakey Lane, Feltham, TW13 7ND.
Price: £4 for children, £7 for adults. Ticket includes free hot drink and cookies.

Be Spooky Pop Up Pumpkin Patch

*This event is fully booked but BeRichmond has a waitlist (see link below) which if residents sign up means they will be contacted once a space opens up.
Limited walk-ins will be accepted on the day but a desired time slot is not guaranteed.
About: Choose and carve your very own pumpkin, turning it into a frightful masterpiece.
While you're there, our talented make-up artists will be on hand to transform you into a ghoulish ghost or a spooky skeleton with their face painting magic.
And don't forget to capture the fun with your hauntingly good selfies against our Halloween-themed backdrop!
When: Saturday, 25 October 2025 from 10am - 4pm.
Where: Whittaker Avenue, TW9 1EH.

Haunted House Comics

About: Quickdraw Comics Club say: "Welcome boys and ghouls to a workshop of haunted house drawing, comic-making and crafts. We'll doodle ghosts, pumpkins, creaky staircases, cobwebs and more until were ready to create fun haunted house comic strips!"
All materials are provided and children will only need to bring a snack and water bottle. Dressing up is welcome but not essential organisers say.
When: Monday, 27 October 2025, from 9am - 12pm.

About: The Alligator's Mouth is delighted to welcome Alligator's Mouth Award winner 2020 back to the shop for a workshop and signing event featuring his cute, funny characters Murray and Bun in their latest adventure Murray the Ghosthunter.
