Seven parcels of freehold land in residential parts of Richmond are set to go up for auction next month, with guide prices starting from just £500.

The plots, which are being sold by Clive Emson Auctioneers on behalf of a private client, are located in several sought-after neighbourhoods across the borough—including Kingfisher Drive, Riverside Drive, and Watermill Close.

They form part of the company's June catalogue, which features 166 land and property lots across southern England.

Paul Bridgeman, regional director and auctioneer at Clive Emson, said: "We've been instructed by a client to sell off seven plots of land in leafy Richmond – this is a chance to own some real estate for less than the price of a second-hand car in one of the most desirable residential areas of London."

Among the listings:

  • A grass verge at Watermill Close/Broughton Avenue, guided at £500 to £1,000
  • A plot in front of 51–55 Watermill Close, also guided at £500 to £1,000
  • Further parcels along Hardwick Road and in front of 2–12 Watermill Close
  • A rectangular plot on the eastern side of Riverside Drive, with a guide price of £1,000 to £2,000
  • Two similar-sized parcels at Kingfisher Drive, each guided at £1,000 to £2,000

The land being sold is predominantly green space or roadside verges within residential areas, offering buyers the opportunity to acquire small pockets of land in prime locations.

Clive Emson Auctioneers is now in its 36th year and is holding its fourth auction of 2025 this June.

Bidding will open on Tuesday, 10 June, and close on Thursday, 12 June.
