The Shredquarters Twickenham is launching a brand-new, 'New Mums Fitness Class', specifically designed to help new mothers rebuild strength, boost confidence, and connect with others — all in a welcoming and baby-friendly environment.

Led by a postnatal qualified personal trainer, this indoor gym-based class will provide a safe and structured return to exercise after childbirth.

With a focus on restoring core strength, improving overall fitness, and supporting mental wellbeing, the sessions will be tailored to suit all ability levels.

Whether a mum is just beginning to move again or already easing back into fitness, the class will provide personalised support every step of the way.

One of the unique features of this class is that babies are welcome. Mums can bring their little ones in buggies, carriers, or lay them on blankets nearby — meaning there's no need to organise childcare.

This flexible and inclusive setup allows mothers to focus on their own health and wellbeing without the stress of leaving their baby behind.

Beyond the physical benefits, the class offers an important social element. New mums often face feelings of isolation, especially in the early months of parenthood.

The Shredquarters aims to create a supportive space where women can not only exercise, but also share experiences, make new friends, and build a sense of community.

The programme will include safe and effective exercises that focus on posture, pelvic floor health, functional movement, and whole-body conditioning.

Every movement will be led by a professional with expertise in postnatal care, ensuring mums can work at a pace that feels right for them.

Held inside the gym's fully equipped Twickenham facility, the sessions will provide a comfortable, motivating space for new mums to focus on themselves — without judgement or pressure.

The first class will take place on Monday, 16 June at 1:45pm and then same time each week thereafter.

Spaces will be limited. The Shredquarters will look to add another class should demand be high.

Those interested in taking part can email [email protected] with any questions or you can book a space by clicking here.
