A section of the Richmond Riverside path has been closed with police in attendance.

An officer is standing inside a cordon which has been set up near the Three Pigeons Plot and is directing people away.

A side passage off Petersham Road is also cordoned off.

The officer is standing in front of a blue tent which is on the pavement near the River Thames.
