We visited the newest sweet treat bakery in Richmond town centre.

Flavourtown Bakery opened a few weeks ago in The Quadrant selling perfectly crafted cupcakes and slices of showstoppers.

It became Flavourtown's second location after Fulham which is a "real hub for us", general manager Jordan Ruby said.

"Fulham is a really community-focussed area so it made sense to come to Richmond," he said. "I think people in Richmond appreciate good food."

One of the company's selling points is its use of high quality ingredients such as Lescure butter.

Bakers are given the freedom to experiment with new recipes and they wheel out new cakes and three different cupcakes each week.

Last week a Kit Kat cake proved a hit with customers' bellies and when we popped by, there was an outrageous Oreo cake available to buy whole for £55.
