Scott's Richmond is set to mark Burns Night in style later this month with a special one-off celebration overlooking the Thames.
On Sunday 25 January, the riverside restaurant will host its third annual Burns Night dinner, held in partnership with The Singleton of Dufftown.
The evening will celebrate the life and legacy of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns, with traditional ceremony, live bagpipes and a bespoke Scottish-inspired menu.
Guests will be welcomed from 6.30pm with a Speyside Highball cocktail made using The Singleton 12-Year-Old whisky, before sitting down to a specially curated three-course dinner.
The menu begins with pastrami-cured salmon served with pickled cucumber, trout roe, preserved lemon and labneh, followed by fillet of venison with slow-braised shin, glazed heritage carrot, kale and venison sauce.
Dessert rounds off the evening with a Singleton treacle tart served with crème fraîche. Throughout the night, diners will also enjoy whisky drams, ceremonial toasts and the traditional Address to the Haggis, accompanied by bagpipes, along with a few surprises planned for guests.
Tickets for the Burns Night dinner are priced at £95 per person.
Scott's Richmond, one of the area's best-known dining destinations, says the riverside setting offers the perfect backdrop to celebrate Scottish food, drink and poetry with friends and family.
