Drop-in, a flexible co-working space, has opened at 50 George Street in the heart of Richmond for residents to work and connect.

Offering locals a third space between the office and their homes, workers can Drop-in and pay £99 per month for access to professional-grade office facilities, allowing people to access productive workspace.

The Richmond work club, the second from Drop-in, following the success of its Hackney club that launched in 2023, will feature fast, reliable broadband, speciality coffee, comfortable desks, chairs and monitors so that workers can just "drop in and go," the company says.

It also has a specialty coffee shop that is open to the public.

Drop-in says its mission is to empower remote workers to do more by bringing productive workspace to every high-street.

Their clubs are a place for modern workers to go that remove the stresses of working from home and the distractions that come from juggling life admin with work.

Drop-in's Richmond club is the second in a series of openings planned in neighbourhoods across London by entrepreneur Henry Wilkinson.

Wilkinson, co-founder of Drop-in, said: "It is our strong belief that everyone should be able to be their most creative and productive self, when at work.

"Workers in Richmond deserve a better place to work without leaving the neighbourhood. A place to be productive and to escape the loneliness that can come from working at home.

"We are providing a third space – with everything needed to power up the working day.

"Our memberships come with no commitment meaning workers have true flexibility in how they use the club."

Drop-in's first club at 91 Rendlesham Road in Clapton hit a waitlist shortly after opening due to the demand from the neighbourhood.

The company currently has memberships on offer for the Richmond space to mark the opening which ends this Friday (26 April).
