London Overground disruption hits Richmond services after train fault at Canonbury
By Nub News Reporter 13th May 2026
Passengers travelling to and from Richmond station are facing disruption this morning after a fault on a train at Canonbury station caused London Overground services to be suspended to and from Stratford station.
National Rail said no London Overground services are currently running between Stratford and Richmond station or Clapham Junction station.
The disruption is expected to continue until around 12pm today (Wednesday, 13 May).
Services running to and from Stratford may be cancelled or revised while engineers deal with the issue.
Passengers have been advised they can use London Buses via any reasonable route at no extra cost while the disruption continues.
National Rail is also reminding customers that they may be entitled to compensation if their journey is delayed.
Travellers are advised to keep their tickets and details of their journey to support any claim.
