A pub in Barnes is giving away free pints of larger and hosting a BBQ this Saturday, 16 May.

The Brown Dog brings the BBQ & Stiegl Festival to its garden, giving away cups of the Austrian beer to the first 30 punters on the day.

Located on Cross Street, the gastropub will serve pulled pork baps, sausages and more from 4pm until the food runs out.

Hosted by locals Tom and Andy, the pair return to host the BBQ until 9pm on Saturday, with the Stiegl Festival to continue until 11pm.

The Brown Dog said: "It's the perfect excuse to get your friends and family together at your local pub, enjoy great food, special beers, and brilliant atmosphere.

"And if the weather doesn't behave, don't worry - we'll have space inside for everyone.

"We simply want to bring our locals together and offer something different for the community."
