Organisers thank community for another brilliant Richmond May Fair
By Cesar Medina 11th May 2026
Another successful Richmond May Fair took place this past Saturday, 9 May in what will go down as the biggest one yet.
Hundreds of visitors from Richmond and further a field came down to Richmond Green and enjoyed a day full of entertainment, Pimms and sunshine.
The event once again brought together local charities, businesses and organisations all in one place, totalling up to around 300 stalls on the day.
Visitors shopped at independent crafts, charity stands, food and drink vendors, alongside having fun at the traditional funfair and the popular Dog Show.
Richmond May Fair said via social media: "We are thrilled to have had so many messages from visitors about their wonderful day enjoying the fair, the great choice of products from stallholders and hearing more about our amazing local charities.
"We are so pleased that people loved the free entertainment, from the Morris Dancers to the rock stars with PowerJam Bands, and the dog show was the biggest ever!
"Thank you to all our sponsors and the volunteers who make it possible.
"We look forward to seeing you all for the 2027 May Fair on 8th May."
