A passionate walker and musician has praised Foot Solutions Richmond after the team helped him overcome leg pain and rediscover his love of walking.

Jorn Van Dort, a keen long-distance hiker, has completed some of Europe's toughest routes, including the 500-mile Camino de Santiago de Compostela and a 600-mile trek from his home in the Netherlands to Nice, France.

Now living in London while studying for a master's degree in classical piano at the Royal College of Music, Jorn relies on walking to unwind from the pressures of his course.

But last year, he began to feel increasing discomfort and "heaviness" in his legs, which affected his endurance.

The results, he says, were life-changing: "I have experienced no pain or heaviness, and it genuinely feels like I'm walking on air."

Putting his new equipment to the test, Jorn completed a three-week, 200-kilometre trek through the Trollheimen National Park in Norway this summer, a route known for its steep peaks and snowy terrain.
