Footage shows a work van weaving through a traveller camp on Richmond Green - as sirens are heard in the background.

Passer-by Alicia, 21, watched on as the scene unfolded in south-west London last week.

The traveller camp sprang up on the green in the area last week, but has since moved on.

But Alicia wanted to share the clip as she said it was "unsettling".

She said: "This is usually a very quiet area.

"The green is surrounded by multimillion pound houses so it was just very interesting to see other people's reactions.

"People in the area were quite shocked - but we sat at a distance just observing."

The traveller group - consisting of more than 20 caravans - arrived on the green on Wednesday (13/9).

They were there for just over 24 hours before being removed by the council on Thursday evening (14/9).

Alicia said: "We saw a car start driving recklessly around the green and swerving around."

The Met confirmed it attended the scene on Wednesday evening after being "notified that a group of vehicles had gained access to Richmond Green".
