Collapsed manhole causes lane closure near Kew Gardens

A manhole has collapsed and caused the closure of a lane heading towards Richmond.

One of the lanes on the southbound carriageway of Kew Road is shut as a result.

A traffic bulletin was issued by the AA.

It reads: "One lane closed due to collapsed manhole on A307 Kew Road Southbound before A316 Lower Mortlake Road (Richmond Circus).

"Lane two (of two) is closed approaching the roundabout, affecting traffic heading past Kew Gardens."
