Cos in Richmond town centre is closing.

The clothes shop is set over two floors on the beginning of George Street.

It is holding a sale with reductions of up 70% on items.

A message in the window tells customers: "This store is closing permanently soon."

It says the nearest Cos store will be in the Bentall Centre in Kingston.

The store is over the road from department store House of Fraser which is shutting on Sunday, September 20.

The double closures will greatly change the face of this area of town.
