We are part of the hyperlocal journalism network Nub News with sites across the UK.

It promises to be an online newspaper – your town in your pocket – packed with news, views, photography and more.

Promote your event!

As of July 6, our What's On page is now live. This means we'll promote your event for free.

Whether you're throwing a socially-distanced concert, leading a class or holding a fundraising event, we'd love to feature it.

To submit your event listing, just go to our events page and click on the black Nub It button. You will then be taken to a screen where you can upload the event's details and a photo.

It only takes a few minutes, and once it has been checked over by a member of our editorial team we will share it to give your event as big a boost as possible.

Nub News' 10 principles

Nub News chief executive Karl Hancock said: "We encourage our journalists to delve into the community and talk to the people that really matter.

"We want to go back to how journalism was 25 years ago. We meet the people that care about their town, including councillors, the chamber, the sports teams, shops and businesses.
