Following the news today that the Department for Transport is establishing a task force to deliver rapid solutions for Hammersmith Bridge, Richmond Park MP Sarah Olney said:

"I am delighted to hear that the DfT is finally engaging in this issue after weeks of silence.

"This is down to the actions of local residents who have been suffering because of the lack of action.

"I hope for their sake that the Transport Secretary is willing to put his money where his mouth is to get this moving and out of this painful standstill."
