The Barnes Choir Open Rehearsal.

If you are a choral singer looking for a new choir to join, why not come and try us out at our Open Rehearsal on Tuesday April 14^th at All Saints, East Sheen Avenue, East Sheen. SW14 8AX. Arrive at 7.30 for a 7.45 Start. We are a friendly mixed voice choir of some 70 Singers and, led by our dynamic Musical Director, Julian Collings, and accompanied by our skilled accompanist, Elspeth Wilkes, we will be having a "first run-through" of Duruflé's Requiem, together with works by Cecilia McDowel and Russell Hepplewhite, which we plan to sing at our Summer Concert on Saturday, June 27 2026.  Scores can be provided. 

Whilst it is helpful if you can read music, we provide all Members with access to rehearsal tracks for home practice and we offer optional musicianship classes on various subjects such as musical theory and sight singing. We do not hold formal auditions but our musical director, will conduct a simple voice test to ensure that you are placed in the correct Section.
