Brentford Women continued their perfect start to the season with a commanding 4-2 victory over Bromley Women at the Gtech Community Stadium.

A hat-trick from Chloe Logie and a penalty from Ashley Cheatley secured all three points for the Bees, who leapfrogged their opponents to take top spot in the league with 45 points.

First Half

Bromley came out strong, pressing Brentford high and controlling possession in the opening exchanges. The home side struggled to find their rhythm early on, with Bromley creating half-chances and testing Brentford's defensive resolve.

Brentford's first real opportunity came in the 8th minute when Cheatley was played in behind, but a superb last-ditch tackle denied her a one-on-one.

Moments later, Brentford were awarded a penalty after Logie's shot struck a Bromley hand in the box. However, Logie was unable to convert as the Bromley goalkeeper, Charlotte Greenwood, produced a strong save.

Despite the missed penalty, Brentford soon took control of the game. In the 22nd minute, Logie pounced on a rebound after Cheatley's effort was saved, poking the ball home to break the deadlock.

Just three minutes later, Logie capitalised on a defensive mistake, slotting the ball past Greenwood to double Brentford's lead.

Brentford's dominance continued, and in the 33rd minute, they were awarded another penalty. This time, Cheatley stepped up and made no mistake, smashing the ball into the top corner to make it 3-0.

Logie nearly completed her hat-trick before the break but curled her effort just wide.

Second Half

Bromley responded strongly after the interval, dominating possession and pushing Brentford's defence back. Their best early chance came in the 57th minute when Melanie Espinosa's shot curled just past the post.

However, as in the first half, Brentford made their chances count. In the 60th minute, Alissa Down played a beautifully weighted pass through the Bromley defence, finding Logie in stride.

The in-form striker made no mistake, slotting home to complete her hat-trick and extend Brentford's lead to 4-0.

Bromley continued to fight for a way back into the match, forcing Brentford's defence into action.

Centre back, Regan Graver, produced a key block to deny a dangerous low cross in the 63rd minute, while goalkeeper Lily Hadrava was called into action in the 77th minute, making a smart save to deny Bromley's attack.

Bromley's persistence finally paid off in the 83rd minute when a cross into the box slipped through Hadrava's hands, allowing the visitors to pull one back.

They struck again in the 90th minute as Espinosa set up Beth Hull for a tap-in at the back post, reducing the deficit to 4-2.

Despite the late pressure, Brentford held firm, with Graver making a crucial block in stoppage time to deny Bromley a possible third goal.
