What's on in Richmond this Halloween?

Halloween is fast approaching so we've rounded up some of the best events in and around Richmond.
Whether you're looking for a family day out or a spooky evening with your friends we've got you covered!
Family and children's events:
Halloween at Hampton Court Palace:
Explore Henry VIII's notoriously haunted palace for Halloween 2023, the spookiest time of the year at Hampton Court.
This October half term, lose yourself in atmospheric projections and creepy sound effects as the palace is transformed by magical spells.

Halloween Afternoon Tea:
144 on The Hill is hosting a Halloween afternoon tea from October 23 to October 31.
The afternoon tea will have all of their usual sweet and savoury treats as well as some fun seasonal additions.
Come with the whole family and enjoy a boo-tiful experience for adults and children alike.

Pop up Halloween Pumpkin Patch:
A pop up pumpkin patch is taking place at Whittaker Avenue between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 28 October.
The pop up will feature hundreds of pumpkins within a spookily themed patch complete with picket fencing and an autumnal archway entrance.
Youngsters will be able to grab their own mini wheelbarrows before setting off on a hunt to harvest their favourite pumpkins which they can then take home for free.
Family Workshops: Ghosts of Richmond Palace:
Discover the stories of the Ghosts that haunt the remains of Richmond Palace this half term!
First, join the museum on a ghost walk around the Palace's remains, then head back to the Museum to create your own haunted Palace to take home!
Workshops are £6 per child and adults are free.

Let's Draw Halloween Comics! half-term club:
Welcome, bats and ghouls, to a half-term Comics Club session at The Vineyard School, Richmond.
This session will include:
Drawing tutorials: teaching easy ways to draw classic Halloween monsters
Group exercise: creating a giant Halloween drawing
Comic-making: each making a small comic book and filling it with a fun Halloween story to take home
Children staying for late pickup will be offered fruit as an extra snack and we'll spend the last hour playing drawing games.

For the adults:
Riverhouse Halloween Party:
Bingham Riverhouse is hosting a Halloween Party ft DJ the Shejay.
The event is taking place on 27 October.
The event is free for members and £15 for non members.

Foxy Horror Picture Show:
The Fox and Duck is hosting a live screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show complete with buffet, dance off and drinks!
The event starts at 6:30pm on the 28 October.
