Paul tackles the UK's handling of the pandemic, why the rules of six only worked for white people, fame, England football fans and Tom Cruise landing his helicopter in someone's garden.

Until Saturday – 'An Hour and a Half Late'. Olivier Award winners Griff Rhys Jones and Janie Dee star in this devastatingly funny portrait of a couple whose five minutes of candid conversation launches an outpouring of emotions and home truths.

All looks rosy for the couple who live in leafy London W4. Peter is about to retire and sell his half of an accountancy business to his partner, while the couple has just packed their youngest off to university.

They are loaded and the world is their oyster. But, just as the couple are about to set off for a celebratory dinner Laura drops a bombshell.

Until March 5 - 'Two Billions Beats' tells the upbeat story of British Asian teenage sisters Asha and Bettina.

Asha, aged 17, is an empathetic rebel, inspired by historical revolutionaries and iconoclasts Sylvia Pankhurst and BR Ambedkar.

She's unafraid of pointing out the hypocrisy around her but less sure how to actually dismantle it.

Meanwhile, her younger sister, Bettina, wide-eyed and naïve, is just trying to get through the school day without getting her pocket money nicked.

Bouncing with wit, Sonali Bhattacharyya's upbeat new play is a coming-of-age story about the unfairness of growing up in a world where you don't make the rules.

Friday – What is History, Now? - Join Helen Carr and Suzannah Lipscomb in conversation about their latest book, What is History, Now?, a ground breaking collection of essays addressing the burning issue of how we interpret history today

Until March 13 - 'Archival auras' brings together a series of interrelated works that comprise sculptural installations, prints, drawings and artist's books by Gina DeCagna. Artists talk, Saturday 2pm.

The works all look at ways to question historical interpretations integrating creative writing practices and visual art.

Until Sunday - The spectacular and vibrant orchids of Costa Rica are to be the centrepiece of The Kew Gardens' 2022 Orchid Festival.

A route around the Princess of Wales Conservatory recreates the varied and verdant landscape of Costa Rica - from the tropical dry forest of the north Pacific to the rainforests of the southern coastline.

Friday - Manford's Comedy Club presents the wacky and irreverent story-teller, Diane Spencer, along with the hilarious, warm and unique Emmanuel Sonubi.

Also on the bill is so-called 'heavy metal humourist' Steve Hughes, who includes an appearance on Live at the Apollo on his CV along with an early career as a thrash metal drummer.

The Club – founded by top TV comic Jason Manford - has been running for five years and in that time they have employed hundreds of comedians to entertain over 80,000 people at venues across the country.

Thursday - A truly exciting and explosive night featuring two of the fastest rising stars in the UK jazz scene – the Emma Rawicz Quintet and the Kielan Shead Trio.

Emma Rawicz is an award winning young saxophonist and composer who is already making waves on the UK music scene; while

Kielan Sheed, a double-bassist, was a finalist in the BBC's Young Jazz Musician of the Year.

Thursday - The Great Annual Strawberry Hill Quiz continues to raise much needed funds to maintain this Grade I listed building and historic site, as well as supporting our community outreach work.

Tickets will be sold for tables of 8 at £20 per head. The price includes bar snacks before the quiz and a Ploughman's Supper at half time.
